Hehe. Too bad those sleep aids don't work too well...
That, & I'm probably gonna spend the rest of the night messing with more photos. Switchie & I (along with another co-worker) were out taking night shots again...
Aw that's great! I never had any of that available to me. Yeah, I've had a few friends go to the Revere Academy after, or in lieu of it. I've been thinking of going to Central Saint Martin's in London for jewelry design. I suppose I'll have to see what happens though.

Most of my fabrication skills I learned in high school. I took a Jewelry class for 3 years there, but I have been doing this pretty much all my life. My grandfather taught me how to carve small objects from wood at 8 years old and gave me my first jewelry bench when I was 13. There are some schools that teach more fabrication skills like Revere Academy [link] I have gotten into CAD/CAM for some things it is a great tool but it has it limitations. Usually if I make a CAD piece I still do about 30-75% of work still by hand. There are some programs better than others. I use Art CAM.
I like the GJ course well enough. I started out without having any experience at a bench and now I feel confident enough to work on my own projects and even other people's things. I think it is lacking in the fabrication field and is aimed more at repair work and the such, but it's given me a good understanding of how things are made. How'd you get into things? Do you use CAD/CAM at all?
